Tornado TSC MK1 GT40 Evocation, Extremely RARE Aluminium Monocoque Version which is Road Registered. Built by a Tornado employee to the highest of specification and finished in the Essex Wire Livery, this is a unique opportunity to own something very special and beautiful. Complete with a fully documented build process, this GT40 needs to be viewed in person to fully appreciate the attention to detail.
Build Specification includes Aluminium Monocoque Chassis with Tubular Steel Rear Subframe making this car weigh in at just 875kg. Suspension consists of Double Wishbone Front Suspension with Coil Overs, rear Suspension is rear Lower reverse ‘A’ Frame with Top Links and Twin Trailing Links, Front Brakes consist of Wilwood 6 Pot Calipers with 330mm Vented Discs, Rear are Wilwood 4 Pot Calipers with 272mm Vented Discs, Adjustable Brake Bias on the fly. Power comes from an original 1966 Ford Small Block 5.7 V8 with an 8 Stack EFI producing over 400hp, this is mated to a 5 Speed UN1 Gearbox with Limited Slip Differential . The impressive Exhaust is a 1 & 3/4 inch Full Cross Over System which is Polished and Ceramic Coated in Cerama Chrome.
The period correct Wheels are BRM Knock On in Satin Black, wrapped in Avon CR6ZZ Radials. This car runs a Twin Fuel Tank System with Low and High Pressure Pumps and Swirl Pot.
The beautifully crafted interior includes Black Alcantara GT40 replica Seats with Brass Ring Detail. The cars Stunning Essex Wire Livery has been Professionally Painted and replicates the MK1 GT40 used in 1966 with notable history including -
